Of every dollar raised through the DOP 2007 campaign, monies are distributed
as follows.

us the opportunity to share our Catholic heritage, values and traditions
with our young people, college students and adults of our diocese
through Catholic Formation Programs. This includes Catholic
formation resources, parish/school child and youth formation, Legendary
Lodge, lay ministry formation, Carroll College campus ministry, Carroll
College scholarships, and campus ministry on campuses in Missoula,
Bozeman, Butte and Dillon. |

Provides
for Pastoral Outreach through retreat opportunities, renewal
and small group ministries, liturgies, special ministries and family
enrichment as we reach out to each other and work to evangelize ourselves
to become a light for the world. Programs include the Diocesan Pastoral
Office, Pastoral Planning, Diocesan Liturgy Office, diaconate formation
programs, Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, Native American and
Hispanic ministries, De LaSalle Blackfeet Middle School, Parish Assistance
and Cursillo and Charismatic Renewal. |

that we are a family of God as we provide for the medical care, education,
training, and retirement of our priests. Vocations, Formation and
Priests' Assistance includes priests' retirement fund, emergency
assistance to priests, promoting vocation awareness, permanent diaconate

on the Catholic tradition of Social Outreach and helps meet
the needs of people in the Diocese of Helena working in the area of
peace and justice. Programs include Catholic Social Services of Montana,
Project Rachel, Protecting God's Children, Family Life and Ministry,
Montana Catholic Conference, Diocesan Marriage Tribunal and ecumenical
programs in Montana. |

for the poor, the hungry and the unborn and expresses personally our
dedication to the Church through our Diocesan Tithing. Programs
include Aid to the Needy, Supportive Aid to Birthmothers and Guatemala
Missions. |

cost to communicate with the people of the diocese and share diocesan
and essential world church news through The Montana Catholic, www.diocesehelena.org,
radio programming and more. Besides Diocesan communication, Media
Communications programs also include parish telecommunications
and technology and national Catholic broadcast communications. |

Preserves
our Catholic heritage as a sign of our unity and solidarity as the
Catholic Church in the Diocese of Helena. Historical Church Needs
include preservation of St. Helena Cathedral, preservation of
historic St. Mary's Mission in Stevensville and Catholic cemetery

Responds
to the call of Pope John Paul II, to support charitable and missionary
programs around the world. Some of the World Wide Church Needs
supported are the Vatican apostolic ministries, Catholic Missions
in Israel, Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and National
Religious Retirement Fund from. Benefits are also paid to the orders
of sisters and brothers working in our diocese.

for the expenses incurred by those from within the diocese who act
as consultants to the Bishop. The College of Consultors, Priests'
Council, Deacon's Council, Diocesan Pastoral Council, Diocesan Finance
Council, Diocesan Stewardship Council and the Assembly of Women Religious
are all Consultative Councils to the Bishop. |
