Legendary Lodge

Legendary Lodge is the diocesan camp and retreat facility on Highway 83 at Salmon Lake, approximately 45 miles from Missoula. A full schedule of summer camps for youth in grades 5-12 is offered. Promotional materials are sent to parishes and Catholic schools in mid-January. Camper registration is conducted through an online registration process on the Lodge website.

Out-of-season use of the Lodge and particularly the St. Joseph Chapel facility on the east (highway) side is available at other times of the year for parish or Catholic school-sponsored retreats or other spiritual renewal opportunities. Patrons generally provide their own staffing and meal arrangements. A use policy and fee schedule are available on request. Weddings, receptions, family reunions, or other similar events may not be held at Legendary Lodge.

Employment

Summer seasonal staff are recruited for both paid and volunteer positions at the Lodge. Applications are generally available beginning in mid-January, through the online registration process on the Lodge website:
