Audio-Visual & Print Media Library

The Diocesan Resource Center is an extensive media library of both text and non-text audiovisual items for circulation through established parish or Catholic school channels. Consulting services and a fully indexed catalog are available to guide interested users in their selection of DVDs, CDRoms, video, audiocassette, kit, book, and special program selections. Patron groups may pay a one-time annual "Frequent User Fee" for generally unlimited access to Resource Center holdings; otherwise, per-item usage fees are assessed. The Resource Center is not a bookstore, and no items are offered for sale. Visitors are welcome Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. when the Chancery is open, and at other times by arrangement with the staff.

Religion Textbooks and Curricula

Religion textbooks and curricula (parish editions) from all mainline Catholic publishers are available for review by parishes considering the adoption of a new textbook series. Catholic school editions are available through the Superintendent of Schools.

Media Awareness & Literacy Service

Consultation services in media awareness and literacy are available; related workshop presentations are offered occasionally in conjunction with other diocesan events.

Browsable Online Catalog

The Resource Center catalog is "browse only", as you will need to go through your parish or Catholic school to order materials. You can be as specific as you want in browsing the catalog. You can use as many or as few of the options available to you as you like. (Note: please be sure to use the ACC# - not the number preceding the title - when requesting books or videos from the Resource Center).
