Diocesan Offertory Program incorporated for one year only

Annually, the faith-filled people of the Diocese of Helena commit to sharing God’s light and love through their support of the Diocesan Offertory Program. The 50 ministries and programs funded by the Diocesan Offertory Program allow countless people to experience the Church in a unique way. During 2008, the Diocesan Offertory Program will be incorporated into the from Age to Age capital campaign.
Initially, the capital campaign will raise the $1,700,000 necessary to meet the needs of the diocesan Church which include:

Social Outreach – Catholic Social Services of Montana, Protecting God’s Children

Vocations, Formation and Priests’ Assistance – Education, Retirement

Catholic Formation – Religious Education, Youth and Young Adults, Lay Ministry

Diocesan Tithing – Aid to the Needy, Guatemala Mission

The Diocesan Offertory Program funds the operation of these ministries and programs on an annual basis while the capital campaign seeks to permanently endow some of these programs for the future. Please remember that only one year of DOP is included in the campaign. The ongoing funding established by the campaign does not replace the funding produced by the DOP each year. With that in mind, a DOP campaign will begin in 2009.
