Diocesan Offertory Program exceeds $1.69 million goal

For the third consecutive year, the Diocesan Offertory Program has exceeded its financial goal. As of Jan. 3, 2008, $1,690,815 has been pledged and $1,424,875 has been collected. Thirty three parishes and missions have reached or exceeded their financial goals. The most recent parish to reach its goal is Holy Rosary in Bozeman, with leadership from Father Leo Proxell.
“Compared to annual appeal efforts nationwide, the Diocese of Helena Offertory Program ranks high among her peers,” commented Glenda Seipp, annual giving manager. “With 43 percent of households participating and the average gift amount being $221, the people of the Diocese of Helena clearly understand and support the efforts of Bishop Thomas to enrich Catholic ministries and programs in our parishes, our communities and the world wide Church.”
