Pope Benedict XVI has declared the coming year as a “Year of Faith,” which begins on October 11, 2012, and concludes on the Solemnity of Christ the King in November, 2013. The opening date coincides with the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and also the 20th Anniversary of the promulgation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This is an opportunity for “new evangelization” adult formation opportunities centered on the Documents of the Council and/or the Catechism.
"The answer begins in our midst, in our hearts and homes, and in our parishes and dioceses. The Holy Father has called for a New Evangelization for the transmission of the Christian Faith. It is no accident that this ambitious initiative serves as the centerpiece for the Year of Faith, and coincides with the golden anniversary of the Second Vatican Council."

Year of Faith prayer cards
*(PDF format; Adobe Reader® required)
These prayer card sheets require 2-sided printing. On most printers, choosing '2-sided print' will print the cards correctly. On some printers, however, the prayer on the back may print upside down. If this happens, choose '2-sided print (flip on short edge)' instead. This should print it correctly.
