On Saturday, April 12, at Midday Prayer at St. Anthony Church in Missoula, Bishop Thomas presented certificates of completion to 22 adults from 13 parishes, marking their completion of the diocesan Program of Formation for Lay Ministers (PFLM).

Those completing the current PFLM cycle and their parishes are:

Jim Lieberg, Cathedral of St. Helena, Helena.
Christine Whitlatch, Christ the King, Missoula.
Christine Cichon, Holy Rosary, Bozeman.

The PFLM was established in 1982 to provide a theological foundation for adults who seek to serve the Church in non-ordained ministry. Many of those completing the current offering are actively involved already in their local parish life, while others have taken advantage of the PFLM to grow in their understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith while exploring possibilities for future involvement.
