At its quarterly meeting on Friday, March 7, the board of trustees of the Foundation for the Diocese of Helena approved awarding a total of $25,000 in grants to 16 applicants. Thirty-four applications were received by the foundation office, requesting a total of $132,383.95.

The grants program was instituted by the Foundation’s board of trustees to provide funding for parishes or programs that do not have the resources to fund specific ministries or projects; and to increase awareness and recognition of the Foundation within the diocese, explained Foundation Services Director Beth Yeakel.
