Following the normal selection process conducted recently, Bishop George Leo Thomas has appointed 11 priests to the Diocese of Helena Presbyteral Council for three-year terms, concluding in 2011.

The Council members are: Monsignors Kevin O’Neill, VG, and Donald Shea, PA; Fathers Rudolph Bullman, Jeffrey Fleming, Robert Hall, Marc Lenneman, Dougald McCallum, Richard Perry, SJ, Gary Reller and Val Zdilla.

The Presbyteral Council advises the bishop on matters of pastoral concern in the diocesan Church. Along with the College of Consultors, the Council makes final recommendations to Bishop Thomas on all matters of importance, utilizing the expertise of the Diocesan Finance Council and other diocesan advisory groups.

There are eight members of the College of Consultors: Monsignors Kevin O’Neill, VG, Joseph Harrington and Donald Shea, PA.; Fathers Jeffrey Fleming, Edward Hislop, Andrew Maddock, SJ, Leo Proxell and Gary Reller. They are serving a five-year term, which will conclude in 2010.
