The framed Road to Emmaus print that circulates among parishes in the diocese has been transferred to the Kalispell Deanery.
During the Son Light gala on Oct. 2 in Helena, two youths from parishes in the Kalispell Deanery accepted the print from two in the Missoula Deanery.
Emily Obermiller of Risen Christ Parish in Kalispell and Alex Neu of Pope John Paul II Parish in Bigfork received the print from Raven Dryden and Quincy Kosena, respectively members of Missoula’s Blessed Trinity and St. Francis Xavier parishes.
The print was given to Bishop George Leo Thomas earlier this year in honor of his fifth anniversary as bishop for the Diocese of Helena.
The picture circulates among parishes to help promote, through activities and prayer, religious vocations. For ease of display, an easel accompanies the print. It will be in the Kalispell Deanery until this spring, when it will be transferred during the convention of the Catholic Youth Coalition. The annual CYC Convention is set for April 9-11 in Helena.
