Twenty-seven golfers took to the links in Helena on May 21 for Catholic Social
Services of Montana’s 11th annual Spring Back to Life golf tournament. The Green
Meadow Country Club tournament and accompanying raffle for an all-inclusive trip to
Maui, Hawaii, generated more than $47,000.
Michael Moore of Anaconda won the trip,
donated by Catholic Social Services of Montana board member Debi Rolfing and her
husband, Mark. Moore bought 36 tickets, one for each month that he has been married.
He and his wife plan to visit Maui as a belated honeymoon. Catholic Social Services
executive Rosemary Miller said this year’s event was the organization’s most successful
fundraiser to date, and the weather was exceptional. “God gave us an afternoon of
sunshine,” she said.
