Bishop George Leo Thomas presents Debbie B. with keys to the 2011 Ford Fiesta SE sedan that she won in a raffle offered as part of the Diocese of Helena’s annual Son Light Celebration. Brown, a member of St. Anthony Parish in Missoula, plans to drive the car for one year until her daughter, a Loyola Sacred Heart High School freshman, is licensed to drive. Two Son Light raffles, one for the car and the other offering a trip for two to see the Seattle Seahawks, generated $46,000 in ticket sales throughout the diocese. The car was sponsored in part by Bitterroot Motors of Missoula. Allegra Print & Imaging of Helena sponsored the Seahawks trip. Raffle proceeds benefit Legendary Lodge.
