Jake Nistler (MT Catholic photo) The Diocese of Helena’s new missionary worker in Guatemala is Jake Nistler, who traveled to the Central American country this month and will serve through May.

Nistler’s work will include faith formation among boys who attend the school at the diocesan mission and board in a dormitory, and communication with the Chancery regarding the school scholarship program.

Nistler, 26, is a former Legendary Lodge counselor who attended high school in Helena, holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and studied at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver.
