People who joined Deacon Wes Vert, right, as he celebrated 30 years in the diaconate included Deacon Dan Gullotta of Immaculate Conception Parish in Polson and Father Jim Connor, the parish pastor. Deacon Vert’s years in the diaconate have been at Immaculate Conception, but his service has grown to include Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada when he and his wife, Madge, are in the Southwest during winter months.
