Sister Mary Jo McDonald’s 50th anniversary as a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth was celebrated during Mass and at a luncheon at St. Ann Parish in Butte on Aug. 29. Sister Mary Jo, born in Butte and raised in Anaconda, has served at St. Ann for the past 27 years. She works in parish administration. Her earlier service included mission work and teaching.
