Each year the Diocese of Helena offers Aid to the Needy Grants through the generosity of the Catholic people of the Diocese and their contributions to the Annual Catholic Appeal. It is time to begin the application process for the 2012 grant cycle.

The Application for Grant Funding and Funding Criteria are available by clicking on the side menu bar to the left. Please review them before writing your proposal, and note that proposals that do not comply with the funding criteria will not be considered. Also, we ask that you provide all the information requested on the Application, as incomplete applications will not be considered.

The maximum grant amount is $2,000. I suggest close attention to the funding criteria and the information requested on the application before sending your completed application back to us. Remember, a grant request must be endorsed by the local parish priest or parish administrator.

To be considered for funding this year, the completed applications must be postmarked on or before April 20, 2012. The Diocesan Aid to the Needy Committee will evaluate the applications and the awards will be announced by the first part of June.
