April 14-15, 2012 Conference Announcement:
A Fertility Awareness (or Natural Family Planning) Conference is being offered by
the Diocese of Helena on April 14-15, 2012. Fertility Awareness is the study of the
human biomarkers that indicate fertility. Couples are taught how to interpret these
signs in order to help achieve pregnancy or avoid pregnancy, in a manner that is in
accord with the Church’s teachings regarding the regulation of birth. The particular
method presented is called the Bead System of Fertility Awareness. The Conference
also provides the theological context to understand how Fertility Awareness fits into
the Church’s vision of Christian marriage.
