Bishop of Helena

The Bishop is the spiritual and administrative leader of the Diocese of Helena. He provides for the spiritual needs of the priests, deacons, women and men religious, and people of the diocese. His office is responsible for overseeing the ministries, activities and programs of the diocesan Church. Additionally, he is the head of the diocesan civil-law corporation.

Vicar General

The Vicar General administers the diocese in the absence of the bishop. He serves as an ex officio member of diocesan consultative groups.

Delegate for Religious

The Delegate for Religious serves as liaison between the women and men religious serving in the Diocese and the Bishop.

The Assembly of Women Religious is a gathering of the sisters who serve in the Helena Diocese, providing opportunities to bring matters of concern to the Bishop.

Ecumenical Officer

The diocesan ecumenical officer promotes ecumenical activities in the Diocese of Helena, serves as a link with the Montana Association of Churches, and is a liaison to the National Association of Diocesan Ecumenical Officers.
