What Are the Qualifications Needed to Become a Religious Sister?
A woman who feels called by God to dedicate her life as a Religious Sister ordinarily must have the following qualifications:
- A desire to respond to God's call
- Capability for the active apostolates of the community
- Freedom from debts other than educational loans
- Good health
- Single person between the ages of 20 and 45
- Membership in the Catholic Church long enough to understand and to have embraced life, faith, and worship of the Catholic tradition
- Education or work experience beyond high school
